Infrared (IR) wire grid polarizer

All products are sold individually as standard specifications. We provide short delivery times due to complete stock availability.

■Designed for wavelengths from 2.5 to 30 μm ■A variety of substrates available ■Please use a polarizer holder for 360° azimuth adjustment Infrared (IR) wire grid polarizers are used to convert the light from unpolarized infrared laser sources into linear polarized light or for attenuating polarized light sources. When two wire grid polarizers are used together, a high extinction ratio exceeding 40,000:1 can be achieved. Each polarizer is marked with white markings (etched) on the protective gold frame surface to indicate the orientation of the polarization axis, eliminating the need to check the axis in advance. Infrared (IR) wire grid polarizers are used in various applications including medical imaging, aerospace, FTIR spectroscopy, and analytical instrument applications. Note: KRS-5 and ZnSe are toxic materials, so please handle them with special care. To avoid any impact on the human body, always wear rubber or resin gloves when handling. *You can download the catalog from Edmund Optics Japan that features this product from the link below.
